This past week, in class, I was able to work on my speech and brainstorm what I wanted to talk about specifically since I did a lot of research and learned a lot of information. The main issue I had was trying to narrow down everything I could say since there is a lot and figure out how I wanted to structure my speech. The other thing I realized I had to keep in mind was making sure the audience would be able to understand what I was saying since some of the terms in the field of research can be quite complex.
This week, I hope to be able to start working on my final product bibliography that is due next week so that I will not have to do it all in one night. I also have to begin editing my final product proposal with my mentor to make sure that all of it is accurate as well as possible to do in the time constraints. This week I also have the speech to give in front of the class on Friday so some of my main goals are to speak at a understandable tempo, since I tend to talk faster when presenting, and make sure I reach the minimum time limit set. Next week I hope to turn in my completed final product proposal as well as meet my mentor and finish the final product bibliography.
