Contacting Professionals

I have never noticed how many neurologists are around in the Dallas/Fort Worth areas, but there are thousands of results when I search for doctors near me. After compiling my full list of 25 professionals, the common theme I noticed was that most neurologists who work in private practice settings have 5-10 doctors and it is really hard to get the contact information on doctors working in hospitals. I started by compiling a list to contact of professionals that are around the Frisco area as well metroplexes where bigger hospitals are located. I do not have much optimism of being able to get in contact with clinicians at hospitals, however, it is the same practice setting I would like to work in, so I want to call even if I get rejected.

I quickly realized that neurology is getting more popular, and Texas is very into high risk sports such as football. Neurologists are now creating sub specialties such as Sports Neurology because they are essential to diagnosing players. As the population is growing, hospitals are strategically placing locations near dense areas to meet the demands. I feel confident that I will be able to secure 3 interviews and conduct appropriate research when meeting with professionals.
