When I started with my initial original work proposal, I wasn't pushing myself hard enough and my idea was too generalized. However, after feedback on my proposal and discussing with my peers, I realized that I needed to narrow my focus on one specific thing within epilepsy. Now, I am well into my research, and I want to focus more on the specific channel Kv1.1 in the control of neurocardiac function. The imaging would provide the justification behind my hypothesis for each scan of the mouse models involved. This will be the focus or the final product of my original work. Since I wanted to emphasize the channel as my original work, I first focused on understanding the complex terminology in the articles. Thus, I needed to do more research in order to comprehend the articles I was reading to get a strong foundation.
For this upcoming week I need to work harder and get more hours done for my original work and finish my product. This way I can go ahead and get started on the final assessment that is due on the 13th. This will allow me to give myself some buffer time and work in a flexible manner.
