This past week was the first week of doing online school and working over assignments virtually. Some things I accomplished this past week was doing some more reading on action potentials as well as the Kv1.1 channel to make sure that I was still learning. Some things I am having trouble with is not being able to meet with my mentor or even do virtual calls due to the lab and college campus being closed. Last week I also was able to turn in my product progress assignment along with the notes I received from my meetings. I found it to be very easy since it required me to only reflect back on meetings and how the final product is progressing.
This week I hope to keep doing more research on my own and hopefully discuss with my mentor alternative solutions for my final product. The research I intend to do more reading about includes staining measures as well as identify the variables in the experiment. I am also a little confused on the sets of antibodies present in the study and want to learn more about them. This week I want to exceed the 14-16 hour assignment due and hopefully reach 20 hours to get ahead.
