Working in the lab

This past week I had the opportunity to meet with my mentor and get a tour of the lab. In the lab I was able to work with a graduate student as well as begin learning the complex details of their current research. Last week I was also tasked with doing the annotated bibliography for my final product. I actually found the assignment to be very simple and straightforward since they were exactly like mini research assessments. I was also able to learn more, in-depth, since it covered more information compared to what I learned in my short meetings with my mentor.

This week I hope to finalize my guest list for the final presentation night as well as my invitation that I will send out. I was also able to sign up for the final presentation night speech rehearsal and this allowed me to plan ahead on when I need to begin working on it. Next week I hope to meet with my mentor a total of three times so that I can get them knocked out of the way and make sure that I have adequate time for my product as well as preparing for the speech that will be given on FPN.
