Over spring break I was able to do more research on my final product topic which taught me about the different concentrations of substances used in labs. I also submitted a final guest list of people I would like to invite to FPN as well as edit my invitations. I had trouble with getting my invitations to look clean as well as getting the dimensions right. I also was able to type out and make a diagram of all that I had learned from my first mentor meeting so that I could include my notes for the product progress assignment.
I also used the time to update my wix website and ensure that it was up to date on everything I had completed so far. I also contacted the graduate student I am working with to set up future dates to meet. However, the meeting I had scheduled during spring break got cancelled due to the virus. Although it has proven to be a challenge, we decided that we can still work virtually so that I can still get my work done. This coming week I hope to gain more clarity in terms of the new schedule and complete the product progress assignment.
